How to make a dishwasher dryer from improvised materials
Useful and practical hand-made crafts give the house a special cosiness. The largest number of such items is in the kitchen. For example, one of the important accessories is a dish dryer. You can make it from any materials at hand, getting a truly author's product with an original design. Such a dryer will become a decoration of the kitchen, and will always attract the eyes of guests.
Despite the availability of inexpensive dryers on sale, many make them on their own. The material may be thin wooden slats sold in hardware stores. Before assembling the structure, they are carefully sanded with sandpaper to achieve a smooth and even surface. To protect the tree from moisture, it is tinted with a stain and covered with moisture-resistant varnish. Ordinary paint can also be used. The choice of decor will depend only on the imagination of the author.
As a material for the dryer, instead of slats, you can use wooden clothes hangers. They remove metal hooks and lower crossbars, and then fasten together with screws or hot melt adhesive. Such a design is assembled in a short time, and looks very unusual and attractive.
Another version of the dryer can be made from five-liter plastic bottles. Both round and square containers will go into business. They cut off the upper conical part, and then cut into two halves in length. The general design of the dryer is a few bottle halves inserted into each other, which are fastened with an office stapler or glue to achieve strength.
The original and durable design of the dryer is obtained from a plastic bucket. It is cut lengthwise into two parts. One of the halves is used as a stand, securing the second to it with screws or glue. In the side walls of the upper half, several holes are drilled into which a thick wire is installed. It will serve as partitions for dishes.
The completely simple and unusual design of the dryer is made using ordinary pencils and cropping boards. Two rows of blind holes are drilled in it, corresponding to the diameter of the pencils. Then the board is carefully sanded with sandpaper and pencils are installed in the holes. For greater attractiveness, they should be new and have the same length, although some prefer to use short multi-colored “stubs”.
