Simple and lightweight loggia dryer design
So our apartments are already arranged so that it is necessary to dry linen on a balcony, a loggia. Place it on dryers that are easy to make on your own. There are many designs on the Internet - they choose the right one.
Easy to use ceiling dryer. She, in the absence of linen, clean, lifting to the ceiling and freeing up space on the loggia for other purposes.
First, a rectangular frame is made of wooden blocks. Its dimensions should be less than the length and width of the loggia. For rigidity, metal corners are installed in the corners of the frame.
In short (possibly long) frame bars, a series of holes are drilled, the axes of which are parallel to the plane of the frame. Insert the screws with eyelets (directed inside the frame). Secure from the outside with washers and nuts. Stretch between adjacent loops on different sides of the rope frame - they should not sag.
Through the corners of the frame and across it, through holes are drilled. Thread segments in them, tie knots at the ends so that the thread does not break out of the hole.
Four holes are drilled on the ceiling of the loggia in size, similar to the holes in the corners of the frame. Insert an anchor with rings into them. Pass the free ends of the ropes attached to the frame at the corners into each of them. They are collectively threaded through the ring of an additional anchor mounted on the edge of the loggia ceiling. They are all connected by one knot. Pulling the knot down, raise the dryer to the ceiling; lifting it, lower the dryer down.
The dryer for the loggia can be made wall-mounted, and folding. To do this, you need to prepare: wooden bars with a cross section of 25 ... 30x25 ... 30 mm; wooden rods of 1 ... 1.5 cm diameter; two loops; a rope; hook.
Cut two pieces of the same length from the timber. Mark them on them in increments of 10 ... 15 cm. Drill holes of equal depth in diameter with the same diameter as the diameter of wooden rods. Place the last ends in the holes.
Two wooden blocks are cut to the size of the obtained structure and the ends of the existing bars are connected with them using self-tapping screws. Get a frame, inside of which between the bars is a series of parallel to each other wooden rods.
One of the frame bars parallel to the wooden rods is provided with hinges. In another in the center, a through hole is drilled. The hinges with their free sides are fixed in level to the wall in the place where the dryer is planned to be placed. Through the hole in the upper side, thread the rope, secure it with a knot.
An anchor with a ring is installed in the wall above the dryer. Through it pass the free end of the rope. When the latter is pulled, the dryer rises and pushes against the wall. If the end of the rope is lowered, then the dryer will take a horizontal position - it is possible to hang clothes for drying on it.
